Your privacy matters. This policy explains what information Cluedx collects, how we use it, and what choices you have.
1. Who We Are
Cluedx is an online educational platform for aspiring entrepreneurs. When this policy says "Cluedx," "we," or "us," it refers to the operator of cluedx.com. Questions about this policy can be directed to our Contact page.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information in two ways: information you give us directly, and information collected automatically.
Information you provide:
- Email address — required to create an account
- Full name — used to personalise your experience
- Password — encrypted and never stored in plain text (handled by Supabase Auth)
- Onboarding answers — your business goal, stage, persona, learning style, time commitment, and demographic info (age range, gender) — used to recommend the right learning path
- Referral code — if you signed up through a referral link
Information collected automatically:
- Lesson progress — which lessons you've started and completed
- Streak data — your learning streak and last activity date
- Session data — stored in cookies by Supabase to keep you logged in
- Theme preference — light or dark mode, stored in your browser's local storage
We do not collect or store your full credit card number, CVV, or billing address. Payment details are handled entirely by Stripe.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your account
- To personalise your learning path recommendations
- To process subscription payments and manage billing
- To track your lesson progress and streak
- To apply referral credits when applicable
- To send transactional emails (e.g. email verification, password reset)
- To improve the platform and fix bugs
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
4. Third-Party Services
Cluedx uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:
- Supabase — database and authentication. Stores your account data, progress, and session tokens. Privacy Policy
- Stripe — payment processing. Handles all subscription billing and stores your payment method securely. Privacy Policy
- Google — if you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from your Google account. Privacy Policy
5. Cookies & Local Storage
Cluedx uses cookies to maintain your login session (set by Supabase). These are essential for the service to function — without them you would be logged out on every page load. We also store your theme preference (light/dark) in your browser's local storage. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
6. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your profile, progress, and all associated data are permanently deleted from our systems. Any active Stripe subscription is also cancelled at the time of deletion. Note that Stripe may retain payment records independently in accordance with their own data retention policies and legal obligations.
7. Your Rights & Choices
You have the following rights regarding your data:
- Access & update — you can view and edit your name and email from the Settings page
- Delete — you can permanently delete your account and all associated data from Settings at any time
- Cancel — you can cancel your subscription at any time from Settings
- Contact us — for any other data requests, reach out via our Contact page
If you are a resident of California, you may have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what personal information we collect and the right to request deletion. Contact us to exercise these rights.
8. Children's Privacy
Cluedx is not directed at anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has created an account, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
9. Data Security
We take reasonable technical measures to protect your information. Passwords are encrypted via Supabase Auth. Payment data is handled by Stripe, a PCI-compliant processor. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure — use the platform at your own risk and contact us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of Cluedx after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
